Built for one kind of client.
Syntric Technology Services, LLC was founded to do one thing well: provide HIPAA-compliant managed IT to independent healthcare practices in metro Atlanta. We don't do retail, we don't do manufacturing, we don't do law firms. We do healthcare.
The metro Atlanta healthcare market is full of small, independent practices, primary care offices, dental practices, therapy groups, specialty clinics, that don't have the internal IT staff of a hospital system and don't warrant the overhead of a large enterprise MSP.
What those practices usually end up with is a local generalist IT shop or a "family friend" who knows computers. The work often gets done. What doesn't get done is the HIPAA-specific layer: the signed BAA, the Microsoft BAA acceptance, the Conditional Access policies, the immutable backups, the documented incident response plan, the audit-ready logs.
Syntric was built to be that partner. We are a focused, local firm based in metro Atlanta. We serve a specific client profile, independent healthcare practices, and we structure our services, our contracts, our documentation, and our response posture around what those practices need.
We are Microsoft-centric by design. Microsoft 365 is the most practical productivity platform for a small practice, and when configured correctly it covers a significant portion of the HIPAA technical safeguards. Our job is to do that configuration correctly, keep it that way, and prove it in writing.
Three principles.
Specialize, don't dabble.
We don't take on clients outside healthcare. The depth of expertise we can bring to a medical practice comes from focus, and focus comes from saying no.
Document everything.
A control you can't prove you implemented is a control you didn't implement. We document configurations, incidents, and changes so our clients have defensible records.
Transparent pricing.
Flat, per-user monthly fees with clearly defined scope. No surprise line items. No "that wasn't covered" conversations after something breaks.
Our BAA is available on request, before you sign anything.
You should be able to read the Business Associate Agreement before you commit to the engagement. Contact us and we'll send the current version.
